Chemical Technician (f/m/o)

Are you interested in chemical processes? Are you good with your hands? Do you have a good understanding of technology? Then apply to us for a training course as a Chemical Technician. Over the three-and-a-half years of the training course, you learn all of the theoretical and practical skills required to ensure that our chemistry continues to be just right.

At Vinnolit you learn how to:
  • control and monitor chemical production processes
  • check and maintain our production systems
  • record and log operating data
  • prepare raw and auxiliary materials
  • carry out chemical and physical product analyses
At vocational college, you study:
  • the principles of chemistry
  • quality management
  • customer-orientated and cost-orientated approaches
  • how to avoid being bored! Laboratory weeks, practical metalwork and the technical training center take care of that.
You are the ideal applicant for us if you...
  • have a relevant high-school or intermediate-school leaving certificate or a qualification to study at university (Abitur).
  • are good with your hands and bring an understanding of technology.
  • have an interest in chemistry and physics.
  • enjoy working in a team and interacting with colleagues.
  • have a very good command of German and a good command of English.
Duration of training

Training usually takes 3.5 years.

Working hours

The working hours are 37.5 a week, in accordance with the provisions of the collective wage agreement. 

Start of training course

The training courses begin on September 1.

Salary

The salary varies according to region and is based on the collective wage agreements for the chemical industry.
