Can PVC be FullyCircular?
An excellent example was shown at the K show 2025: An innovative window solution from HÖNING Fenster & Türen, using GEALAN window profiles made from Westlake Vinnolit’s GreenVin bio-attributed PVC, which is produced with 100% renewable electricity and ISCC PLUS certified renewable ethylene from circular biomass. Since the profile core is made from mechanically recycled PVC, this window profile is fully circular.
These exhibits and many more forward-looking circular and/or bio-based products were displayed at the Plastics Europe special exhibition “Plastics Shape the Future”.
