As of January 1, 2025, KRAHN Chemie has received distribution rights from Westlake Vinnolit GmbH & Co. KG for Europe. The agreement covers all Vinnolit PVC types, which are used in numerous applications.

With this new partnership, KRAHN expands its portfolio to include PVC polymers, complementing existing products such as plasticizers, stabilizers, additives, blowing agents, biocides, flame retardants, and colorants. Klemens Unteutsch, Business Segment Manager of KRAHN Chemie Deutschland GmbH, states: “The cooperation with one of the leading PVC manufacturers strengthens our presence in Europe. With the expanded product portfolio, KRAHN can meet the growing needs of customers in a dynamic market even more comprehensively.”

PVC (polyvinyl chloride) is a versatile material known for its durability, adaptability and recyclability. It is used in floor coverings, wallpaper, artificial leather, textile coatings, window profiles, films, pipes, cable insulation, hoses, façade panels amongst others.
