In 2018, a joint project between the British Plastics Federation, VinylPlus UK Group and VinylPlus EU was launched. The PVC based project titled “12 months – 12 reasons to use PVC” was created to raise awareness of the diversity of uses of PVC in our everyday lives.
From the life-saving properties through PVC blood bags in medicine to the sustainable credentials evidenced through the use of PVC in energy efficient wind turbines, PVC with its flexibility, durability, contribution to energy efficiency and recyclability the benefits are far and wide ranging.
